The Bitter Berry Gina | Summer Cocktails

This gorgeously dark and bitter drink is sweet, tart, and perfect for Summer. The spice of ginger liqueur meets the sharpness of Hudson Standard Cassis Berry Shrub. It is layered with hints of chocolate, blackberry, and just a whisper of maple. This drink is a wonderful balance between sweet and sour.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Barr Hill by Caledonia Spirits Gin
- 1 oz Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur
- .5 oz The Hudson Standard Cassis Berry Shrub
- 4 drops Bittermens Burlesque Bitters
- Sap Maple Beverages Maple Seltzer
Instructions
- Combine gin, Barrow’s Intense, shrub, and bitters in a shaker.
- Shake with ice and strain into a Collins glass.
- Top with Sap! Maple Seltzer and garnish with a lemon twist.
