Los Destellos | Barrow's Intense Ginger Cocktails

This intense cocktail is exactly what you need if you want a little spice in your life. The Elegant notes of fruity pear and citrus BarSol Supremo Mosto Verde Italia Pisco meet warm and spicy Ginger liqueur. The spice becomes more complex with the addition of hot and sweet cinnamon syrup. The cinnamon mixes with the ginger to create both a wonderfully aromatic concoction as well as delicious and spiced drink. The drink is finished with a dash of Scrappy's Cardamom Bitters adding an extra layer of herbal flavor as well as some citrus to pair with the pisco. This cocktail is no joke but it is just as delicious as it is enticing.
Ingredients
- 1.5oz BarSol Supremo Mosto Verde Italia Pisco
- .75oz Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur
- .25oz fresh lime juice
- .25oz Cinnamon Syrup
- 1 dash Scrappy's Cardamom Bitters
Instructions
- Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass
- garnish with crushed black pepper
Notes
The name means "the little stars". It is also the name of the most famous Andean band, purveyors of the Chicha sound, a style of psychedelic cumbia music that has been around since the mid-60's
